Been REAL BUSY and a NEW HAIKU

  • How I Am Feeling:
  • What I am listening to: Justin Timberlake

I have I been busy these past few months, I celebrated my 44th birthday on the 21st of May. 44 is a strange age for me. It’s not a definite age like 40 or 45; it’s sort of just dangling there. I had a nice celebration at hiome. Next year, I hope to have a big celebration, turning 45 is a milestone and I am thankful l for every day I have on this earth.

I lost one of my online jobs, I really miss it. It was the anti aging blogging job, It was fun to do and I was learning a lot about how to keep looking young, lol. He had to end the job for financial reasons, but he said if his finances picked up, the job would resume, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I also have a few good prospects lined up for June.  I would like one or two more jobs. I really enjoy blogging and writing articles.  I feel these jobs are really sharpening my writing skills.

I do have a bit of good news, one of my poems will be published online next week! Plus 7 of my articles have been accepted and they will be going up live online soon. This is particularly exciting because this is one of the few times that my name and image will be alongside my articles, usually my articles are ghostwritten.

I recently wrote a new haiku:

I am off to do some writing. Have a great day and week everyone!

HELLO EVERYONE and a NEW HAIKU

  • How I Am Feeling:
  • What I am listening to: Creed

Hello Everyone,

I recently got another online job writing articles, and I am super busy! I love the work. I get to choose the topic I want to write about and that makes the job more fun. Sometimes I think I am going to go crazy writing about subjects that are not too interesting such as car insurance.

I am writing about the paranormal now. I find it fascinating. I am not a firm believer in ghosts, but I do believe their existence is possible, and it is fun writing about the subject and reading about people who claim to have witnessed the presence of ghosts. I am writing about shadow ghosts in particular. After that I am going to write about how words inspire people. I have not done much research on that subject yet, but I think it will make an interesting article.

I am also excited because the CAVS made the basketball playoffs again! They are looking pretty sharp so far, but I am not expecting them to do as well as they did last year. The competition is enormous this year! But I hope they will hang in there for at least a few rounds!

I have not been doing too much creative writing, but I did want to share a new haiku I wrote this morning…

RETURN to Crreative Writing and a POEM

  • How I Am Feeling:
  • What I am listening to: Scott Stapp and Creed

I am starting to write more poetry and short stories again! I love this form of writing. I submitted several poems for possible publication and I got a nice response. They loved my work and promised to find a place for it in a future issue, so I will see what happens. These kinds of responses do not mean automatic publication, but they are encouraging and positive.

I am beginning to write some stories for the collection I have been working on since last year. I have not given up on this concept; I just put it off for awhile. I am not going to set any time frame for completion. I will finish it when I can, bit I do not want it to drag over a period of 2 or 3 years. I would like to have it completed by the end of this year or no later than early 2009....

I am going to share a poem and then it is back to work for me. I am not sure if I have posted the poem before?

I have to write and post my daily anti aging article. I am still enjoying this job. I have learned so much about aging and how to slow it down and better my health.

GRACE OF STOELN TIME

ten below zero
snow on ground,
bed of asphalt,
stench of death in alleyway

innocence shattered
sold her precious soul
for survival
veil of tears shrouds agony

shadows closing in
brisk air, snow falling,
trash bag overcoat

voice weak and hollow
lingers in bitter winds
screams fade unheard

body ravished
with disease
lost little girl living on
the grace of stolen time

More work, Obama's historic Speech and a New Poem

  • How I Am Feeling:
  • What I am listening to: Wactching "Morning Joe"

Hello Everyone,

Well I did not get the job I wanted but I did get another one. It does not pay as well as the others but it still a little more cash coming in, every bit helps!

I did enjoy my first assignment which was to write five articles about the supernatural and the paranormal. I enjoyed researching these topics. I hope I get more topics of that nature.

I am still neglecting my fiction writing which is really stressing me out, but there is not enough time in a day for everything. My sister did send me a contest link and I think I will enter it, the prize is 450,000. Would be wonderful, oh to dream, to dream…

Wow I was amazed and blown away by Obama’s speech yesterday. He hit on all the right points. It is being compared to the "I Have a Dream" speech and most are saying it was the most important speech on race since that time. I am not sure if I agree with that assessment but I thought it was brilliant and excellent at the same time.

Read it and watch the speech here.

I wrote this morning, and want to share it here:

Hello, Obama and a New Haiku

  • How I Am Feeling:
  • What I am listening to: Justin Timberlake and the radio

Hello Everyone,

I am still very busy with my article writing jobs and I have a good chance to get another one this week. I just sent in my test article and I feel pretty good bout my chances.

I survived that big snow storm over the weekend here in Ohio, we got about 18 inches. I am so looking forward to spring. I love winter but it seems to be lingering this year.

I am elated that Obama won the last two races! I was so angry that he did not win Ohio. I knew he wouldn’t because of the demographics, but I was hoping for a miracle. Nest is Pennsylvania. I do not think he will win that one either, but if he keeps it close he will not lose much ground and will maintain the lead in the delegate count.

I wrote a new haiku and want share it here and then it is off to wok for me

BUSY at WORK, OBAMA and a NEW HAIKU

  • How I Am Feeling:
  • What I am listening to: Justin Timberlake

I have been so busy that I have not had time to visit here. I have 3 online jobs that pay pretty well!! I love my work and I am looking forward to more jobs. I just applied for a tea blogging job this morning. I hope I get it.

I am into the Democratic Primary as well. I am an Obama supporter. I feel the wave of this movement. People want change and I do believe he can deliver the kind of change this country needs.

I am going to share a new haiku and then I am going to head back to my work.

Hello Everyone,

I know it is a bit late, but I wanted to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! I had a fantastic Christmas with the family.

I am still getting over the flu, I have had it for about 2 weeks. I sure hope it will be gone by the end of this coming week.

I am so looking forward to this year. I feel great things are coming my way. It will be the year of postive change!

I have been super busy with the blog writing and withother activities. I am still looking for one more online job. I applied to a few last week and I am hoping one or two will come through.

I wrote a new poem this morning I want to share:

Hello

  • How I Am Feeling:
  • What I am listening to: Nothing

Hello Everyone

I submitted a few stories for publication three or four months ago, and I recieved rejection notices for both stories this week. I truly wish I could get the creative writing going, but I guess it is not to be right now. I am going to look the stories over and send them out to other publications soon.

I am still busy with writing the blog and with writing articles for other publications. I am enjoying the work and the pay! I am still looking for one more job. I think that 2008 is going to be a great year for me. I am looking forward to better and bigger things in my life. I think overall 2008 is going to be a year of change for the better.

Well, I am off to write little more and then it is Christmas shopping for me today. I hope I get it finished today, but if not I will mostly likely finish my shopping tomorrow
.

Hope you all have a fantastic day and weekend

BUSY, VICK and a New POEM

  • How I Am Feeling:
  • What I am listening to: Alicia Keyes

Hello Everyone,

I have been away for sometime, been real busy writing and with the Christmas Holiday shopping. I did not get the blogging job that paid over $1000 a month. I really wanted that one, but I never felt I had a real chance, but it felt good to apply and to make another possible contact. I am still pursuing a job of this nature. I want one that pays on that scale or even more. I am not going to stop until I achieve that goal...

I have to say that I was happy and surprised that Michael Vick got the maximum sentence. I was hoping he would. He has to pay for his ruthless and reckless actions. I just wish the sentence could have been longer...Perhaps he will be a changed man when he gets out of prison...

SUPER BUSY and A NEW POEM

  • How I Am Feeling:
  • What I am listening to: Justin Timberlake

Hello Everyone,

I have been swamped with writing projects. I truly love being busy, but I do miss being able to do other things. I applied for a few more writing jobs. I sure hope I get at least one. I love the idea of being paid to write. I wish I could make this happen with my creative writing but for now this suits me just fine.

I did get an offer to write for a an article for a print magazine. I am working on the article now. It is a paying gig, but it is not much. The good thing is if my article is accepted I will get a byline and it will be in a national print magazine. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they accept my article.

Here is a quick senyru I want to share:
