Welcome to my journey, I hope you will visit often...
Week of October 8th, 2007

The bad news for this week is that my mouse quit working and I do not have a spare one. I have had it for three years and that is about the average life of a mouse. I am gettting a little behind in my work because I am working the mouse with my finger and it is a pain in the you know what, lol. But I will get me a new one next month and my sister, Anna, is going to let me use one of her old ones in the time being. So I should be gettting back on track next week.

The good news of the week is that I am so happy to say that in just a short time I moved up in the rankings at my new job! They evaluated my first 10 articles and they loved my work! I will be earning more per article now and that is such great news!
It is always exciting when I earn money as a writer. It has to be one of the most difficult professions to make money in especially as a freelancer. I also heard from another company that will start giving me assignments in a few weeks. Plus I have a shot at writing for a company but I have to revise my "test" article and resubmit it. I will be doing that over the weekend. This would be great because they pay between $50-75 per article which is great pay in the freelance market today.
I would love to add a daily blogging job to my workload. I love blogging and I miss it. It is difficult to find a blogging job, at least for me it is. There are plenty available but I do not have the expertise for many of them. Most are finacially oriented, but I am going to keep looking until I find one. I would love one in the health field.

I am getting so nervous now that the Election Day is so close! In just a little over two weeks we will electing a new President. I am so hoping it will be Barack Obama and it looks as if he will win, but anything can happen in an election. We saw this just 4 years ago when John Kerry was way up in the polls and we all know how that turned out. Plus the same thing happened in 2000 with Gore, so I am very cautiously optimistic. If McCain wins I am gong to be sick for at least a week!

There are plenty of things that bother me about McCain but what really irks me is his standing on abortion, women's equal pay and his wanting to privatize health insurance and doing away with social security. Also he wants to get rid of medicare. McCain is a hero and I admire him for that, but if McCain does manage to win this country is going to be in dire trouble even more so than it is now, at least that is how I feel.
I have not been writing any creative works lately so I will leave you with an older haiku of mine:

autumn winds scatter
fallen leaves

Have a WONDERFUL weekend and week everyone
