BUSY AT WORK and a new HAIKU

Hello and Good Morning All,

I have not had much time for anything except writing and sleeping. I did manage to get my Poetic Monthly article finished. It was a struggle. I have been thinking about stepping away from Poetic Monthly. I love the magazine and like contributing, but lately I have been focusing on paying  gigs and feel that I should stop writing for "free." It is just a thought. I have been writing a monthly article since April of this year. I think I may give it a few more months. I have to think about it.


I am liking my job more and more. Since it is only a trial period, I have been looking for other writing jobs if the same nature. I hope I keep this one for a time, but if not I want to have another job in the wings...


I cannot believe it is time to start thinking about POET OF THE YEAR at my poetry site. It seems like it wasn't that long ago when I was doing this. This year went by fast! I am looking forward to the new year. I really feel better things are coming my way, I have opened my mind and spirit up to embracing new things and just about everyday something good comes my way.



I am going to share a poem and then it is back to writing for me




WINTER'S BREEZE

delicate pleas cling
on the wings
of winter's breeze
